Equimec Paste Wormer

Equimec Paste is a broad-spectrum worming paste for horses. It provides broad-spectrum parasite control, including controlling roundworms, bots and summer sores.

Equimec is an Ivermectin based wormer for horses.
Equimec treats and controls the following worms in horses:

Large strongyles 
Small strongyles including Benzimidazole resistant strains 
Pinworms 
Large roundworms
Hairworms
Lungworms
Intestinal and neck threadworms 
Bots 
Skin lesions caused by Habronema and Draschia spp, and cutaneous larvae (summer sores) by Onchocerca spp.

Equimec has a wide safety margin. It can be used in horses of all ages including mares at any stage of pregnancy and breeding stallions

It is effective against Benzimidazole (BZ) resistant worms - some strains of bloodworms have become resistant to BZ products, EQUIMEC can control BZ resistant worms.

Low dose volume - EQUIMEC Paste stays in the mouth. Wide opening for quick administration, fits even small hands.

Active Constituent: 18.7g/kg Ivermectin  

The contents of one syringe will treat one horse weighing 600kg.
